Offshore/Marine Structural Engineer
Job description
✅ Perform detailed structural calculations using advanced software tools such as ANSYS and Dlubal RFEM.
✅ Work collaboratively with steel engineers and CAD technicians on varied and exciting projects.
✅ Manage and design innovative, efficient steel structures that consistently exceed client expectations.
✅ Optimize structural designs by analyzing critical results and understanding key design drivers.
✅ Conduct thorough Quality Assurance reviews of computational models, project documentation, calculations, and other deliverables.
Qualifications ✨
🎓 Degree or diploma in Civil, Structural, Marine Engineering, or related fields.
🌟 3–6 years of experience analyzing steel structures.
📚 Familiarity with Eurocodes, DNV, and other relevant structural design standards.
🔧 Proven experience in applying structural engineering principles, performing hand calculations, sketches, and understanding fabrication/construction processes.
💻 Competency in reviewing 3D CAD and structural modeling.
🛠️ Mandatory experience with steel structures, material grades, welding symbols/details, profiles, and industry standards.
📐 Experience reviewing and validating fabrication drawings.
🚀 Independent worker with a proactive attitude, willing to go the extra mile.
