Vessel retrofit Engineering and piping design
Versatility
CORE COMPETENCE

Our expertise in piping and retrofit design ensures precise, clash-free integration using advanced CAD tools and LIDAR 3D scanning. By accurately capturing vessel, jetty, or plant conditions, we optimize equipment placement and system layout. Our deliverables—fabrication drawings, spool sheets, and isometrics—are engineered for seamless installation. Using standard materials and proven methods, we reduce fabrication time and cost while ensuring long-term reliability and ease of maintenance.
The process
Start to Finish
Review of Input & Kick-Off
High-Level Concept Development
Our client-centric approach ensures each project is tailored to specific needs—be it a repair, retrofit, or new build. We start with a basis of design and concept GA drawing, followed by initial sketches and 3D models to kick-start the engineering process efficiently.
Primary Member Design & Detail
Concept Preparation and Pipe Routing
For scrubber retrofits, we begin with conceptual pipe routing and structural modifications based on 3D scans and existing vessel layouts. This phase ensures optimal equipment placement, minimal clashes, and efficient integration into existing ship systems.
Basic Design and Detailing
Finalizing 3D, Review Cycles and 2D Detailing
In the basic design and detailing phase, we develop 3D models, routing layouts, and structural models. This includes support structures, spool drawings, isometrics, and MTOs—ensuring accuracy, class compliance, and transition to fabrication and installation
Document Delivery and Client Review
Fabrication Drawing Preparation
The final step is creating detailed fabrication drawings and an MTO list, providing materials and precise construction details. This ensures accurate execution and compliance with design specifications, class rules and quality standards.
